The 4×4 Adventure Club Kuala Lumpur (ACKL) and the newly-setup 4×4 Adventure Club Malaysia (ACM) have signed an agreement with Wenzhou Automobile and Motor Sports Association of China to jointly promote 4×4 motorsports tourism in both countries and in the region.

Founded in 1987, ACKL celebrates its 25th anniversary this year, and in conjunction with the occasion, it will co-organize a three-day Malaysia 4×4 Jamboree with ACM on 15-17 September this year. Wenzhou’s Car Fans Club will be traveling in convoy all the way from China to participate in the event.

Taking place at the Sepang Offroad Circuit adjacent to the Sepang International Circuit, the Malaysia 4×4 Jamboree 2012 will introduce a series of competitions and recreational activities for 4X4 professionals and amateurs drivers as well as activities for the whole family.

Members of the general public will be allowed to set up camp at the venue and participate in various 4×4 related activities such as Extreme 4×4 Challenge, Standard 4×4 challenge, Motocross, ATV Challenge, Radio Control 4×4 and many more. Participants can even vote for the Best Dressed 4×4 vehicle in a car pageant.

4X4 vehicle manufacturers and importers are invited to showcase their models, utilize the off-road track and obstacle course at the venue to showcase real off-road driving to potential owners. There will also be food stalls, accessories booths and various children games and activities set up at the event.
