Ford Ranger T6 tours country in nationwide roadshows
The build-up to the eagerly anticipated launch of Ford’s all-new Ranger T6 continues with a series of four roadshows planned from now to April at major shopping centres nationwide. Display units of both the manual and automatic variants will be present, and bookings will be opened during the road shows.
The first 500 takers will receive an Apple iPad, followed by a special edition Casio G-Shock watch for the next 1,500 customers. In addition to seeing, feeling and touching it, visitors will also be able to ‘test drive’ the new Ranger in a 360° racing simulator, programmed to reproduce the worst of terrains.
Fun and games will come in the form of various strength challenges in line with the ‘Ranger vs The World’ marketing theme. Participants of the strength challenges and racing simulator stand to win exclusive Ford merchandise in a series of contests held during the roadshow.
In addition, Ford will set up a station where visitors can find out more about the Malaysian Global Ford Ranger Challenge and register to participate for the chance to drive away with their very own Ranger XLT 2.2L (manual transmission). This challenge calls for the best ideas to test the Ford Ranger and five lucky entrants will be selected to get behind the wheel to turn their tough challenge into reality.
