Infiniti FX 2012 now available in Malaysia
Auto Dunia Sdn Bhd has announced the availability of a newly updated Infiniti FX. Price of the sole model variant remain unchanged, but buyers of this new 2012 vintage can expect revisions to its front grille, external fascia, 20-inch alloy wheels as well as an updated instrument cluster for the refreshed FX 37.
The award-winning 3.7-litre VQ six-cylinder engine continues to power the FX 37, pumping out 320hp and 360Nm. Paired to the engine is a 7-speed automatic transmission with Downshift Rev Matching and Adaptive Shift Control (ASC). Drive goes to all fours through an Intelligent All-Wheel Drive system capable of varying between 50:50 front/rear torque split and 100% rear-wheel drive.
Braking is provided by a quartet of vented discs backed by anti-lock braking (ABS), electronic brake force distribution (EBD), and brake assist (BA). The Infiniti FX is also independently sprung all-round, with double-wishbones up front and multi-links at the rear. Further safety features come in the form of Distance Control Assist (DCA), Lane Departure Warning (LDW) and Lane Departure Prevention (LDP), and Intelligent Brake Assist (IBA) with Forward Collision Warning (FCW).
Meanwhile, features of convenience include a Bose 11-speaker Premium Audio system, Intelligent Cruise Control, and Around View Monitor (AVM) system utilizing four small superwide-angle cameras to provide a virtual 360° ‘birds-eye-view’ of objects around the vehicle – useful in tight spots.
The 2012 Infiniti FX is offered in seven exterior colors: Graphite Shadow, Malbec Black, Umbria Twilight, Liquid Platinum, Black Obsidian, Midnight Mocha, and Moonlight White.
From 23rd to 26th February 2012, F1 fans can catch the Infiniti F1 Roadshow which will be held at the Bangsar Shopping Center (BSC) Kuala Lumpur where the Red Bull Racing RB8 F1 car will be on display together with the complete range of Infiniti road cars.
