Naza launches NZ125R motorcycle
Naza Bikes Sdn Bhd has just launched a new motorcycle in the 125cc segment, the Naza NZ125R, produced locally in Shah Alam but developed in collaboration with technical partners from Korea, Taiwan, and China. It is an underbone-type motorcycle, and its basic price is RM3,788.
Powering the NZ125R is an air-cooled four-stroke engine tuned to Euro II emission standards. At a constant speed of 80kph, Naza claims that fuel economy figures up to 65 km/l are possible. Development of the bike is said to have spanned 18 months, and 20,000km of test riding mileage.
Datuk Wira SM Faisal stated, “In designing the bike, we took into consideration of many factors to match the design with the customers’ need. Foremost on our mind is to develop a bike that will help the low-income earner save on fuel consumption and maintenance. Value-added feature such as electrical power point is practical feature not offered by our competitors.”
The NZ125R is available for viewing at selected Naza Bike dealer showrooms from this weekend.
