New Volkswagen showrooms open in Ipoh and Kuching
Volkswagen Group Malaysia (VGM) has officially launched two new dealerships this month as part of a very rapid and aggressive network expansion drive in the country. First to be launched was the showroom of Goh Brothers Motor in Ipoh, followed by Ismaco Automotive’s outlet in Kuching.
Both outfits are established Volkswagen dealers moving into fancier new showrooms. Goh Brothers have been with VW since May 2007, while Ismaco has also been dealing Volkswagens for the past four years. Ismaco’s new 3S outlet is situated along Jalan Batu Lintang in Kuching.
Commenting on Goh Brothers’ opening in Ipoh, VGM’s Managing Director Mr Ricky Tay said, “Volkswagen’s presence in the northern region will further strengthen VGM’s nationwide network as well as bringing the Volkswagen brand and service closer to customers and Volkswagen lovers in this region.”
Ismaco is one of two dealerships representing Volkswagen in East Malaysia, with Kota Kinabalu-based DKV Automobil being the other. Tay said, “Volkswagen’s presence in East Malaysia will further strengthen VGM’s strategy in the region. VGM is bringing the Volkswagen brand and service closer to customers and Volkswagen lovers in the state.”
