Test Drive Kia on Tour 2011 Grand Prize Winner announced
Naza Kia Malaysia Sdn Bhd has announced Mohd Ismail Ibrahim of Kuala Lumpur as winner of the Forte 1.6 EX grand prize for the Test Drive Kia on Tour 2011 campaign. Ismail, 38, who test drove a Forte during the campaign’s final road show at The Curve, picked up his new car from Mr SM Nasarudin SM Nasimuddin, Joint Group Executive Chairman of the Naza Group, at a special handover ceremony.
“I test drove the Forte on the first day of the roadshow at the Curve as I had been planning to buy one. I didn’t think I would be winning the grand prize,” Ismail said.
Ismail’s entry was one of 9,000 received throughout the campaign. Participation was open to all who made a booking or just test drove a Kia vehicle at any one of the road shows. The tour began in May with the first leg held at One Utama Shopping Centre in Petaling Jaya, moving on to Queensbay Mall in August and then KSL City Mall in Johor Bahru. Over the four road shows, Naza Kia registered 3,144 test drives and picked 600 bookings with the Forte being the most popular pick.
“Test Drive Kia On Tour 2011 was an opportunity for us to get closer to our customers and give new customers a chance to view and test drive our range of award-winning models. As shown by the number of test drives conducted at all four venues, these models are becoming more popular with Malaysian consumers,” said Datuk Hafiz Syed Abu Bakar, chief operating officer of Naza Kia Malaysia.
Excellent response to the campaign has encouraged Naza Kia to not only repeat it in 2012, but also to expand it as well. Six legs are already being planned for Test Drive Kia on Tour 2012, with new destinations along the East Coast and East Malaysia in mind.
