How to Win RM50,000 – Shell FuelSave Challenge
Kuala Lumpur, 4 May 2011 – Malaysia’s most fuel efficient motorist stands to win RM50,000 at the 2011 Shell FuelSave Challenge, announced Encik Azman Ismail, Managing Director of Shell Malaysia Sdn Bhd and Shell Timur Sdn Bhd at the event launch in Sentral Star Shell Station in Lebuhraya Menjalara, Kepong today.
“People are becoming increasingly aware of their spending habits and fuel consumption is a significant part of this. Realising this, it gives me great pleasure to announce that the Shell FuelSave Challenge will take place this year to discover how far everyday drivers can travel with a tank full Shell FuelSave 95,” said Encik Azman.
He added, “Shell FuelSave is a lifestyle enabler which helps you stretch your ringgit. Our mission is to help drivers save 10% of their fuel consumption by using Shell FuelSave 95, accompanied by the Shell FuelSave tips.”
Fahrin Ahmad FuelSave Ambassador reinforced the message by inviting his celebrity friends – actress Kenchana Devi; singer Dina (Malaysian Idol) as well as Mix.fm radio DJ Hisham Hamzah also known as Sham – to discover firsthand how far they can go with Shell’s most advanced Fuel Economy formula, Shell FuelSave 95.
Formerly known as the Shell 1 Litre Challenge, the Shell FuelSave Challenge is a testament to Shell’s commitment in educating and promoting fuel efficiency amongst Malaysian motorists.
To participate in the Shell FuelSave Challenge, motorists aged 24 and above, with five years of driving experience need to make your way to the Shell FuelSave Roadshow located in various cities nationwide where you will need to answer a few questions and go though the elimination process. Alternatively, motorists can also register online at www.shell.com.my/fuelsave to be in the running the win these prizes:
• 1 x Grand final champion: Grand Prize worth RM50 000
• 1 x 3 State winners: Grand Prize worth RM3,000
• 10 x 3 State Consolation prizes: RM300
