Chevrolet Cruze dominates Brazil WTCC
The Chevrolet Cruze had a field day in the recent WTCC round held in Curitiba, Brazil, outshining even the BMW 320 TC. There were two races held over the weekends, and the Cruze 1.6 Turbo powered the boys in blue to take five of the available six podium spots.
Only T Coronel in a BMW 320 TC was able to break the monotony with a second-placed finish in Race 2. Race 1 saw Chevy drivers Rob Huff, Y Muller and Caca Bueno lead from start to finish for an all-Chevy podium finish.
In Race 2, Chevy’s Swiss driver Alain Menu massively improved on his sixth place finish in the first race to take the chequered flag ahead of Coronel. Coming behind Coronel’s BMW was yet another Cruze piloted by Muller to take third place.
