For the upcoming KL International Motor Show 2010 (KLIMS ’10), Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia will be bringing in two electric concept vehicles from its parent company for display alongside current models in the market.

First of the two concepts will be the Concept PX-MiEV, a plug-in hybrid crossover powered by Mitsubishi’s Plug-in Hybrid System. It features an electric motor for each of the front and rear axle, and has a 1.6-litre MIVEC petrol engine ready to step in at any time to generate electricity when needed.

The other concept would be the i MiEV SPORT AIR, which is essentially a sports version of the i-MiEV electric vehicle. To justify its sports tag, Mitsubishi has hiked the motor’s output from 63hp and 180Nm in the i-MiEV to 80hp and 230Nm.
