Hyundai Santa Fe facelift prices announced

Ahead of its impending introduction at the Kuala Lumpur International Motor Show 2010 (KLIMS ’10), Hyundai-Sime Darby Motor has announced pricing for both variants of the Santa Fe facelift. Prices start at RM158,888 with insurance for the 2.4-litre petrol model going up to RM169,888 for the 2.2-litre CRDi.

In terms of equipment, that money gets you an electronic 4WD, ESP, ABS and traction control for safety gear. Additionally, more toys with the wow factor include
– steering-mounted controls
– smart key system with keyless entry
– Nappa leather seats
– one-touch sunroof
– 7 seats

Both engines are paired with Hyundai’s in-house developed 6-speed automatic transmission, but on paper, it is the diesel motor that appears to be the far superior choice, with 442Nm on tap – more than enough to twist your mind, let alone the four wheels.

The new Santa Fe is available for booking now, and like all of its Hyundai stablemates, the Santa Fe is offered with a 5-year / 300,000km warranty.
