JPM CIMB Preferred Time Challenge ‘10 to take place this weekend
The JPM CIMB Preferred Time Challenge ’10 is set to take place this weekend along the scenic routes of Berjaya Hills, Bukit Tinggi, Pahang. A sequel to the highly-successful JPM Berjaya Hills Time Challenge in 2009, the second edition of this new fixture in the motor sports calendar has attracted the participation of some 150 drivers of various categories.
Participants will compete in four different categories – Uphill Climb, Downhill Descend, Combined Routes and Time Attack. A special category is also extended to CIMB Preferred customers who stand to pick up a handsome cash prize of US$3,000.
CIMB Preferred, a sponsor returning from 2009, now assumes the role of Co-Title Sponsor, joining the likes of Top One Oil, Silverlake, Bolton, Bina Warehouse, BMW Pendragon Auto, APD, Ishin Japanese Fine Dining, Wearnes VW and HM Illumination in support of the event.
The organizers are expecting not only a fine mix of cars, but also a broad range of drivers as well. In addition to local drivers, this year’s edition also features participation from Singapore and Australia, testimony of its growing appeal.
