Perodua Myvi Limited Edition now available
Perodua yesterday launched a new variant of the popular Myvi hatchback aimed primarily at female customers. Based on the standard 1.3-litre automatic model, the new variant is dubbed the Myvi Limited Edition (LE) and is said to be available for ‘a limited period’.
Three colour choices are available, namely Ivory White, Ebony Black, and Dazzling Red. Marking it apart from other variants of the Myvi are clear-lens tail lamps from the Myvi SE, side door moulding, and a ‘Limited Edition’ badge stamped on the tailgate.
Inside the Myvi LE features revised trim, seat fabric, door handles, carpet mats, and flowery patterns on the dashboard panel exclusive to this model only. Audio system features Bluetooth and USB connectivity, while safety is boosted by the addition of a pair of airbags. However, ABS is not offered.
“The new variant sports a gorgeous makeover on the interior and the cheery exterior looks appeals to the young and hip ladies who want to make a statement with a car that matches their lifestyle,” said Perodua MD En Aminar Rashid Salleh.
“We are confident that the 1.3L Myvi LE will appeal to the young and urban female buyers. We also understand that lady drivers place great importance on having the vanity mirror in their car. Therefore we have added a vanity mirror on the driver’s side as well,” Aminar added.
“All these features come for just an additional RM1,700 compared with the 1.3 Standard AT variant,” En Aminar said.
Now available at Perodua showrooms nationwide, solid-coloured versions of the Myvi LE sells for RM48,100 while metallic-coloured units will go for RM48,600.
