KBS Goodyear Drift Challenge 2010 to take place at Putrajaya this weekend
This coming weekend, Goodyear Malaysia will be teaming up with the Ministry of Youth and Sports (KBS) to organize the KBS Goodyear Drift Challenge 2010 at Precinct 3 of Putrajaya. Organized with the aim to develop the sport of drifting at grass root levels, the Challenge will feature a mix of novice and expert drifters alike.
Adding some glitz to the event will the Team Goodyear Malaysia’s own drifters – Ariff Johanis, Jane Cheah, Hanizam Hamzah and Michael Gan – fresh from the recent Formula Drift Singapore 2010. All four drivers will be competing with Goodyear’s Eagle F1 Asymmetric ultra high performance tyres.
Drifting fans wishing to catch the drifters in action should head to Precinct 3, Putrajaya on 15 & 16 May 2010. Lucky viewers might even be picked by the Team Goodyear drifters for free taxi rides around the drift circuit. Entrance is free.
