by -

For one week from 4th to 11th of June 2010, Harley-Davidson Kuala Lumpur will be hosting the first South East Asia Harley Owners’ Group (SEA HOG), which will see them ride down south from Kuala Lumpur to Singapore and back before heading off to Krabi, Thailand.

With participation expected from up to 300 Harley owners, the organizers are looking to form the ‘longest unbroken Harley motorcycle convoy’ in Malaysia, stretching possibly up to 8km long.

Participation is expected from riders coming from countries as far as US, Canada, UK, Scotland, France, Germany, Switzerland, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Australia, Singapore, Indonesia, Brunei, Thailand, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Macau, China, Japan, South Korea, and of course, Malaysia.

The tentative itinerary sees the bikers flag off on 4 June in Kuala Lumpur and ride southwards to Singapore, where they would merge with the Singapore Chapter of the Harley Owners Group (HOG).

After a night in Singapore, the bikers will then return to KL, where for two days, they will be kept occupied with activities planned by Harley KL, KL City Hall, and the Tourism Development Corporation.

On 6 June, the convoy makes a day-long excursion to Bentong where the bikers will get to feast on fruits in the Malaysian Fruit Festival. The following day, they will then head off in convoy to the SEA HOG Rally’s final stop – Krabi, Thailand.
