Nasim steps up expansion of Peugeot network

Nasim Sdn Bhd, official distributor of Peugeot cars in Malaysia, intends to make the French marque more accessible to Malaysians with plans afoot to open more branches and also to slash prices of spare parts.

The company recently opened its fifth 3S centre in the country at Ampang, adding to existing 3S facilities in Glenmarie, Johor Bahru, Penang, and Kuching. In the next two weeks, a new 1S centre in Puchong will be opened followed by yet another 3S dealership in Ipoh.

Opening of the Ipoh and Puchong branches brings the size of Nasim’s network in the country to 20 outlets – 13 branches plus seven dealers.

Addressing a long-standing complaint and perception of the public regarding the unaffordability of Peugeot parts, Nasim recently announced a 20% slash of spare part prices across the board.

Currently, Nasim has a spare part stock inventory worth RM5.7 million, which includes parts for current models sold by Nasim and older ones such as the 406, 307, and 206.

The new Ampang 3S centre is the first in Malaysia to offer Peugeot Rapide, a service offered by Peugeot in selected markets, where quick minor services are performed within one hour.
