Ford Fiesta Preview at One Utama 7 – 11 April 2010
KUALA LUMPUR, (5 April 2010) – Fresh from its reveal at the Bangkok Motor Show last week, Ford Motor Company will soon launch the all-new Ford Fiesta 1.6-litre petrol, hatchback and sedan on Malaysian shores. Available in 5-door hatchback and 4-door sedan, the Fiesta is Ford’s first small car variant in Asia to be equipped with the fuel-efficient dual-clutch, six-speed (automatic) PowerShift technology.
The much awaited fuel-efficient Ford Fiesta will be available for a preview between 7-11 April at the One Utama Highstreet Concourse. Product representatives will be on-site to present Fiesta to consumers as well as review Ford’s entire line-up of award winning passenger vehicles.

To date, the Ford Fiesta has won more than 80 prestigious awards worldwide – including Australia, China, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Greece, Germany, Indonesia, Slovenia, Spain, Russia, Scotland, South Africa, and the United Kingdom. In China alone, the Fiesta has collected an astonishing 44 accolades so far.
“Fiesta is a proven world-class vehicle and an important addition to Ford’s core product portfolio here in Malaysia. Equipped with a state-of-the-art interior package and attractive ‘kinetic design’ exterior styling, we’re confident that Fiesta will be a big hit with consumers,” said Westerman.
The use of Boron steel in the body shell is one of the numerous features that make Fiesta one of the safest compacts on the road. Equipped with dual airbags and an anti-lock braking system – Electronic Brake Force Distribution (EBD) and Traction Control – the Fiesta was developed to ensure superior crash protection and safety.
Other features include 16-inch alloy wheels, cap-less refueling, fog lights and an attractive rear spoiler. Interior features include comfortable fabric seats, electric power steering, USB technology as well as Blue Tooth Connectivity.
