Naza Cars & Bikes Carnival 2009 received overwhelming response
For three whole days last weekend (23-25 Oct 2009), the Naza Auto Mall saw throngs of people walking into its (very expensive) premises. Nearly 300 vehicles, ranging from RM3,000 motorcycles to RM10m Ferraris found new owners, as the organizers had to extend the carnival for two days to cope with demand.
In addition to cars and bikes, special offers were also given for the sale of various brand merchandises. Families bringing their children also had plenty of fun and games to keep the little ones occupied while daddy and mummy signed on the dotted lines.
“We brought about an atmosphere of fun and games, with activities tailored for families. As the parents were busy negotiating with salesmen, the little ones were busy either playing at the children’s play area or getting their faces painted and having fun with other games,” said NAZA Group of Companies Joint Group Executive Chairman and Chief Executive Officer SM Faisal Tan Sri SM Nasimuddin.
Held in conjunction with the Malaysian MotoGP 2009 at the Sepang International Circuit, the carnival attracted a large group of superbikers in their Ducatis, Harleys, and Naza bikes. At the conclusion of the carnival on Saturday, the bikers, all 150 of them, were escorted by police outriders to a barbeque dinner hosted at the Bukit Kiara Equestrian Club.
For the bikers, the carnival was a great follow up to the Ducati Streetfighter’s party held at The Loft, KL on Friday night.
Among the highlights of the carnival was the display of several special models like the Mercedes Benz C63 AMG, Honda Civic Type R Mugen RR, Toyota Aurion TRD, Rolls-Royce Phantom, Maybach 57S and Audi R8.
NAZA Credit & Leasing Sdn Bhd extended 100% financing for NAZA Bikes, special financing packages for Ducati and Japanese CBUs, including a 90% financing package for Harley-Davidson bikes at attractive interest rates, with immediate approval for financing.
Activities at the carnival included the Harley-Davidson bikes games, public games quizzes, best looking bikes competitions and a Batik painting and airbrush demonstration.
“The event is aimed at creating a fanfare environment among the biker communities and car owners’ clubs within the NAZA compound. There were loads of food and drinks to complement the whole show,” added SM Faisal.
