Kuala Lumpur, 21 October 2009 – Unleash the soul of Ducati with a Streetfighter party this Friday, 23rd Oct 09 at the Asian Heritage Row, exclusively by Next Bike Sdn Bhd, the sole importer and distributor for Ducati motorbikes in Malaysia which is a subsidiary of the Naza Group of Companies.

Catch a glimpse of this extreme machine, the first naked sports bike that is equipped with competition-level traction control and celebrate a night of fun and entertainment – Italian style at the Loft.

The street party will span throughout the Asian Heritage Row, with a huge Ducati arch welcoming guests and visitors.

The party will begin at 10pm and will go on until 1am. There will be fun and games as well as the public display of other bikes in the Ducati product range including the Monster and the 1198.

Additionally, the whole street will be abuzz with the Ducati ambience and presence with visitors and guests being able to shop for their favourite Ducati merchandise at special booths set up at the entrance to the Loft.

To create more excitement on the street, Ducati ‘Walkabout Girls’ will be holding up placards and asking trivia questions, with winners getting special invites to the party.

The Streetfighter comes equipped with a L-Twin Desmodromic liquid-cooled engine that pumps out some 155hp and 115Nm of torque, through its 1,099cc motor.

It is the first bikes to feature Ducati Traction Control (DTC), offering riders a choice of eight ‘sensitivity levels’, each one programmed with a wheel-spin tolerance matched to progressive riding levels of skill.

  1. That is one seriously beautiful and sexy piece of Italian engineering. Affording one is the first issue, followed by cost of ownership. Italian bikes have expensive spares and short service intervals…..
