New Mitsubishi Pajero Sport SUV soon to be launched in Malaysia
Kuala Lumpur, 2 April 2009 – Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia, the exclusive distributor of Mitsubishi Motors passenger cars and commercial vehicles in Malaysia, will further strengthen its vehicle line up in Malaysia by introducing the all-new Mitsubishi Pajero Sport in the SUV segment, slated for this May.
Speaking on the new model, Mr Keizo Ono, Chief Executive Officer, Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia, said: “Standing tall in the midst of the legendary Mitsubishi Pajero and the stylish Mitsubishi Outlander, the new Mitsubishi Pajero Sport is set to take on the thrill of both on-road cruising and off-road pursuits. The new Pajero Sport offers a spacious carrying capacity, versatile utilities and an interior designed stylishly. The increase in space leads to a vast interior space – its 3-row, 7-passenger, seating configuration can be varied to accommodate the most complex cargo scenario.
The new Pajero Sport has garnered immense response since its global debut in Moscow last year. It has earned praises for its exceptional handling, engine performance, futuristic exterior styling and comfort of a luxury SUV.
With an estimated price of RM170, 000, the new Pajero Sport will join the current line-up consisting of the Lancer sedan, Grandis MPV, Lancer Evolution high performance sedan and the Triton pick-up truck.
