The 207CC is Awarded “Dynamic Imported Car” in China
On November 17, 2008, the 207CC was awarded the “Dynamic Imported Car of the year” in China; this was during the 7th edition of the “automobile Academy Awards” of China. The 207CC gained the award thanks to the votes of a million five hundred thousand readers of various Chinese newspapers and of ten million Net surfers of several Internet sites lodged in China. Elements that the Chinese liked in the 207CC are as follows: its tempting silhouette, its power and its excellent handling. The Chinese consumers are particularly sensitive to the exterior design, the comfort of the cockpit, safety and of course, it’s price. The 207CC has all the requirements to satisfy the increasingly demanding Chinese customers. The 207CC is also a strong success in Europe since it made its debut in the coupe-convertible segment and it has sold more than 36,000 units. (January at October 2008).
In Malaysia, the 207CC had been awarded the most economical car in the Super Coupes category at the recent Asian Auto-Bosch Fuel Efficiency Award 2008 event that was held at the Saujana Hotel on 5th December 2008. With a fuel consumption of just 7.2litres/100km, the 207CC with its efficient VTi engine easily took top spot in its category.
