Mercedes Introduces White for E280 AMG
Sepang, 22 March 2008 – Mercedes-Benz Malaysia have been planning this for 8 months now, and finally introduced an all white Mercedes-Benz S280 to the media at a special Gokart Experience event held at the Sepang Gokart track yesterday.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Florian Mueller, VP of Mercedes-Benz Malaysia announced that the white Mercedes-Benz E280 is a special project by MBM to make the product line more exciting; fitted with AMG wheels, upgraded brakes, and a AMG bodykit, the E280 AMG retails for RM15k more than the standard E280.
Looking at the car that was put on display, it sure looks a winner, and it certainly looks like white is going to be a very popular colour for Mercedes-Benz this year.
MBM also held a gokart challenge for the media. Drivers had to take part in two heat events and those who qualified took part in a final race to determine the winner.
Ian Khong (again) won first place, leading from the start to the finish in the 15 lap race around the 1.247 km circuit.
