Is Ron in or out of McLaren?

The Ferrari-gate scandal at McLaren looks like it will claim the career of the company’s boss, Ron Dennis as rumours of his departure persists.

It started with a Spanish newspaper saying that Ron will be fired by McLaren for his involvement in the acquisition of Ferrari technical secrets. The team was fined STG50 million by the FIA.

Then came a denial from Mercedes-Benz saying that Ron is not an employee but a shareholder and the status quo remains

In the latest development, Italian police raided the homes of four McLaren executives in relations with the spying saga, it is believed that Ron’s was one that they visited.

Then a report in the Times Online said that Ron may quit McLaren, it said that he wants to spend more time with the kids. He had just split with Lisa, his wife of 22-years.
