R35 GTR V-Spec coming?

Ever since the debut of the R35 Nissan GT-R in the 2007 Tokyo Motor Show, the car created waves of excitement throughout the world. To enthusiasts, it is widely known that this will only be the base version of the iconic Skyline to bear the GT-R moniker.

Nissan will slowly and surely improve on the vehicle and come out with more specialised versions much like the V-Spec models of the R32, R33 and R34 Skylines.

Best Car Magazine in Japan has some idea on how this V-Spec variant will be like. Among the changes to the already almighty R35 GT-R will be revised suspension, reprogrammed ATESSA-ETS all wheel drive, weight reductions and a slight power bump.

Exterior wise, the front bumper will be revised and paired with an unpainted carbon fibre bonnet. Some sort of chassis bracing will be incorporated onto the rear cabin of the vehicle as evident in the picture below.

Is this close to the new rendition of the R35 GT-R V-Spec? Only time will tell…..
