Porsche Centre Penang opens in Juru Autocity
Penang, 19th May 2007 – Porsche buyers will now be able to view and buy their favourite cars at the Porsche Centre Penang, which officially opened its doors in Juru Auto-City, Penang, today. The all new Porsche Centre Penang, under the ownership of Naza Premier Auto Sdn Bhd, was launched by the Minister of International Trade and Industry, Yang Berhormat Dato’ Seri Rafidah Aziz.
The opening of the new Porsche Centre in Penang is set to strengthen the brand’s presence in the northern region as well as to provide sales and service to Porsche owners. The recently launched new Porsche Cayenne will be available for sale at the new Porsche Centre Penang including all other Porsche signature models such as the Boxster, Cayman and the 911 series.
The new Porsche Centre Penang has a total built-up area of 13,000 square feet comprising of a showroom for up to 5 Porsche models and an after sales service area.
The after sales service department is equipped with two service bays, adequate tools and computer systems. 15 dedicated and Porsche trained personnel will look after customers at the centre. Training of each personnel and usage of the latest diagnostic equipment will ensure Porsche owners get to enjoy high service standards outside of the Klang Valley.
As for the showroom, the international Porsche look and feel is maintained to ensure customers get the same Porsche feeling and services as if they are in Klang Valley, Singapore, Taiwan, China, Hong Kong or in any other part of the world. In short, the showroom and the workshop have been developed based on global Porsche Corporate Identity requirements. Upon walking through the doors, visitors are greeted by the range of Porsche models, trained Porsche staff, a Porsche Design Driver’s Selection showcase and a Porsche fitting lounge to build their own personal Porsches.
Porsche offers customers worldwide and now also in Penang the full flexibility to enjoy the luxury of ordering their very own, custom tailored dream Porsches, “Made just for me”. A high percentage of all Porsche cars sold worldwide are pre-ordered by the customer and custom built to the smallest detail.

With a significant increase in demand for the Cayenne, Cayman and the other range of high performance cars, Naza Premier Auto is confident on the potential of the northern region market. With the opening of the new Porsche Centre, northern region customers now have the luxury of pampering their investments here in Penang without having to travel all the way to Klang Valley to have their cars serviced. According to Tan Sri Nasimuddin, Naza Premier Auto is also in the midst of working closely with Porsche Club Malaysia to set up a northern region chapter and to create more special activities for the northern region customers.
