Brabus Centre in the opens in the heart of Bangsar
Kuala Lumpur, 17 May 2007 – The sole distributor and exclusive franchise holder for BRABUS in Malaysia and Singapore, Naza-Brabus Motor Sdn Bhd officially opened its brand spanking new Brabus Centre at Jalan Ara in Bangsar. The launch ceremony was officiated by the Minister of Federal Territories, Yang Berhormat Dato’ Zulhasnan Rafique.
With 17,839 square feet of space, the Brabus Centre is a 3-storey building that houses the BRABUS operations office, a sales showroom, a tuning centre, an accessories & merchandise showcase, a prestigious audio visual showroom and a French lifestyle café.
The opening of the new BRABUS landmark marks the company’s confidence in the high end car market and it offers the full range of BRABUS. Interestingly, it certainly looks like the old saying, “You can have any colour so long as it’s black,” may find a place in the Brabus Centre, as all the Brabus models here are black.
“BRABUS is a symbol of lifestyle, especially for those who aspire and have achieved excellence and distinction in their lives,” said Tan Sri Dato’ Seri SM Nasimuddin SM Amin, Chairman of Naza Group of Companies. “Currently we have about 400 BRABUS owners in Malaysia and we will continue to provide the highest quality of customer service.”
To complement the huge investment in the new complex, Naza-Brabus have sent out staff for an intensive training so that every individual at this centre is well versed with the instruments and gadgets in the vehicles. Further training and certification programs with BRABUS for 20 various skills personnel in all aspects of sales, after sales and customer quality assurance are scheduled to ensure that Brabus customers obtain nothing but the best.
“BRABUS is known for its lavish association with high technology, high performance and luxurious lifestyle,” said Tan Sri Nasimuddin. The luxury brand has been voted as “Best Brand 2007 in Tuning category” by readers of German’s leading automotive publication ‘auto motor und sport’ for two consecutive years apart from holding the world’s fastest car record since 1997 with the latest BRABUS Rocket toping speeds of 365.7km/h making it the ‘World’s Fastest Street-Legal Sedan’ in 2006.
The new Brabus Bangsar Centre is targeted to be a lifestyle centre, a place of social and business gatherings on top of getting to know and buy a Brabus. The showroom can display up to 10 of BRABUS cars at any one time.
The BRABUS Premier Line launched early this year, is an entry level to the Brabus lifestyle where standard Mercedes-Benz cars are customized locally using imported original Brabus accessories. Standard modification for this line includes BRABUS body kits, exhaust systems and mono-block rims.
Owners can also opt for other Brabus products for both interior and exterior to customize their vehicles according to their individual tastes. The new centre features a wide range of imported Brabus accessories that customers can choose from.
For those who thirst for greater performance, for the first time out of Germany in Asia, Naza Brabus offers owners the opportunity to tune standard Mercedes Benz for greater performance using Brabus technology right here in Malaysia. The performance upgrade would typically increase torque output by up to 15%, and would be carried out by trained Brabus specialists. These modification come with warranties provided up to two years or 100,000 kilometres.
For the fashion conscious, the Brabus Centre carries the Brabus Collection showcase with products ranging from caps and bags to clothing for men, women and children.
Further complementing the centre’s luxury and refined automobile lifestyle is an audio visual room, developed in partnership with Bang & Olufsen, an internationally renowned luxury audio visual and telecommunication brand with 81 years of history. The audio-visual room would feature the latest and most exclusive lifestyle audio visual equipment that would appeal to high-end market.
Another partnership established at the centre, is a little French café that would complement the high society lifestyle of Bangsar and Brabus owners. The café offers visitors the chance to enjoy a bit of French cuisine in Malaysia.
