Ford Focus Elite Introduced by Ford Concessionaires
Petaling Jaya, January 11 2007 – Ford Concessionaires, one of the automotive divisions of Sime Darby Automobiles Sdn Bhd, today officially unveiled its second ‘Elite’ dress-up of a Ford model based on the Ford Focus 1.8L Ghia. Essentially the Focus variant is named the Ford Focus 1.8L Ghia Elite, and carries a neat body kit package that makes the Focus more outstanding.
Alex Chang, Managing director of Ford Concessionaires, said at the launch today, “The good response to the Ford Escape Elite which we launched six months ago encouraged us to do the same thing for the Ford Focus 1.8L Ghia. It is again a sample of how we strive to give our customers better value for money with the exclusive Elite badge. It also distinguishes our dealer group from that of other Ford dealers.” Mr. Chang added that by packaging the extra features with the new Focus, the extra cost could be spread over a number of years, as it would be part of the loan taken.
“This means that a customer need not come out with the money for the accessories in one lump sum,” he explained.
The body kit consists of front and rear bumper extensions, a rear spoiler integrated into the boot lid, side skirts, and sill protectors at each door with the ‘FOCUS’ letters lighting up when the doors open.
Other specifications remain the same as the standard 1.8 Focus Ghia version.
With the additions, the new Ford Focus 1.8L Ghia Elite retails at RM114, 686.00, (price on the road, without insurance), and are available with immediate effect.
