Shooting Stars of The Shining Silver Star
Kuala Lumpur 15 January 2005- The Mercedes-Benz Shining Silver Star Exhibition held in Kuala Lumpur last month, a world roadshow that showcases the major landmarks in the history of the DaimlerChrysler marques, resulted in three Malaysian photographers being given ‘Shooting Star’ Awards for being the champions in a photography competition held in conjunction with the exhibition.
More than 50 professional and amateur photographers participated in the ‘Shooting Stars’ competition in which the subjects were the vehicles on exhibit, with the top prize going to the photographer with the most artistic and creative photographs.
At the prize presentation ceremony attended by more than 40 participants and officials, three Malaysian photographers received top honours for their creative work. The top 3 prizes went to Alan Ng Siew Hong, Saiful Bakri Mohd Annuar and Moo Nee Choong. Mr. Konstantinos Tsiknas of DaimlerChrysler Malaysia presided at the prize presentation.
