Volvo Introduces Affordable Essential Service Package
Kuala Lumpur 22 July 2004, – Volvo Car Malaysia (VCM) together with its authorized dealers, introduces its latest Essential Service package that offers not only great savings but also peace of mind.
Owners of Volvo cars that are 6 years or older can now enjoy a special service package that’s quicker, more efficient and more affordable.
Available from July 2004, at all authorized Federal Auto Cars and Swedish Marque Service Centres, the Volvo Essential Service is designed so that only the very essential specific parts are serviced, hence the lower maintenance cost.
The packages start from as low as RM168.83 for the Volvo 240 and customers can enjoy savings of up to 51% depending on the model.

“By introducing the Essential Service, we hope to add value and lower the maintenance cost”, Mr. Modig added.
The customer is guaranteed of genuine parts designed and produced to comply with Volvo’s detailed expectations of quality, reliability and safety standards. On top of that, all Volvo genuine parts are backed by a 12-month warranty, even an item such as an oil filter.
Volvo authorized Service Centres also have the right diagnostic tools and expertise to ensure accuracy and precision in fixing a problem.
“By utilizing this service they will be able to extend the life span of their cars and have greater peace of mind knowing that their Volvos have been maintained by the very people who know Volvo the best,” Mr. Modig said.
