Ferrari Club Malaysia Aims to get 3,000 Members
The Ferrari Club Malaysia has been in existence since January 2001 and has the recognition of Ferrari Auto. Its main purpose is to bring together and serve the 80,000 strong Ferrari supporters in the country. At a recent launch ceremony, the club announced its intention to attract at least 3,000 members by the end of 2003.
The club will offer various activities and events for members, the highlight being attendance at this month’s F1 race in Sepang. It has also tied up with Touch’nGo to provide a membership card which can also be used to pay tolls and parking charges, as well as be used for other transportation services (of course, the user has to pre-load cash value in the card before using it!).
For the initial period, the Ferrari Club Malaysia is offering Tifosi packages which have prices ranging from RM218 to RM80. Members who sign up will get, among other goodies, a Fila t-shirt, discounts on official Ferrari merchandise, cash vouchers and a chance to go for the Italian GP.
