EON Ready To Assist Teachers to Buy Proton Cars

With the additional RM1 billion injection by the government to enable teachers to apply for car loans at 4% interest rate, EON has devised special schemes that are available at all its 179 sales branches and dealerships throughout the country.

According to EON managing director Datuk Adzmi Abdul Wahab, the move by the government to facilitate more teachers to own the national car through this new allocation is to be lauded and EON will do its part to help the teachers who wish to buy Proton cars.

“Branch managers will personally attend to these customers from the teaching profession, offering personalised service and priority delivery for the Iswara, Wira and Perdana V6. Other benefits include a minimum booking fee of RM500 instead of the usual RM1000, free Sahabat EON membership, and a free ASTRO digital multimedia system,” he said.

Datuk Adzmi extended an invitation to teachers to visit EON’s showrooms and autofairs where they will find a wide range of Proton cars, value-added bargains, and contest eligibility in which 10 Proton Iswara cars are being offered as grand prizes.

The additional RM1 billion revolving fund to provide car loans to teachers is expected to boost sales of the national car. Likewise, EON expects the positive growth in car sales to continue, especially since the country’s liquidity, low interest rates, continued demand for the national car, and the aggressive push by EON in its advertising and promotion campaigns, have spurred and generated demand.
