there, the guys at the workshop keep saying "buat 156 ada untung punya...ni
146 ah.. tak da untung punya..lagipun ah, itu 146 punya orang ah..tak ada
duit punya orang"
Yup..been hearing that a few times now... and everytime i bring my car
there..someone keeps persuading me to change to 156. I just dont get it!
Whats wrong with the older alfas... despite the problems i had over the
years, i still love driving my boxer...i guess sometimes they just ought to
keep their mouth shut and just do the work.. maybe now dah besar kepala
kut, sebab people have been recommending their workshop all the time..tak
tau la..

no doubt that HHK is a good workshop but sometimes with that kind of remark
it makes you want to go elsewhere... as a matter of fact, i did my last
service in mega auto... i went there... do the usual service and plus i
managed to change my cv joint on both sides... I have been trying to get it
changed at hhk... but they keep saying "tak senang" and asked me to come
next week... a week later..i went there again and they said the same
thing... I had enough of it and so i went to Megaauto... on the same day,
Tan called me up to ask about my car.. and i told him that its already
done..... and yes it made him feel guilty and called me twice to say
sorry...which for me is a good thing..at least he knows that he should be
careful next time..

I also experience the samething with HHK. Its ok.. i know they were
bz..better do 156 or 147...untung lebeh maa.. For now i just refering to
mega auto and goodwork for my 146. Price wise its not much different, but
as a customer ist value for my time.
146 pon jadi laa...:)

i've said this before and will say it again with no skin off my back.
hhk rudely turned me down when i needed to fix my actuator because i'm
not their regular customer. they literally asked me to 'GO BACK to mega
auto laaaa'
as far as i'm concerned ###### them !

(painful) truth to the things that these mechanics think of us 'cheap car'
drivers, that we dont have much money and they cant make much repairing
our cars. but thats good buisness planning i guess.
when i first got my 145 4 years ago they even served me drinks while i
waited (still existing alfa workshop), now they dont even give a crap, if
they can get away without fixing my car, they will. "no parts, susah mau
repair, etc... better sell your car buy 156 laaa".
sure, give me a six figure salary and i will buy a 156 lah! prlck.
which is a big mistake in my point of view as a customer. cos i'm only 27
now, and chances are my 145 isnt the ONLY car i will own till i'm like 70..

when dealing with mechanics..!
I guess beside the skill that they possessed, PR plays a very important
part.
To me I would like to be friends with mechanics and I do now have some
of them as friends so that when dealing with repairs its less painful!
But, first impression is important. If during the first meet, they `buat
tak layan` or `give indication that they are not interested to do your
car for whatever reason` then...forget about it..better go to other
workshops... Mechanics are like doctors, they have to diagnose the
problem before suggesting the cure...and how do they do that...the first
thing they should listen to you explaining your problem, then examine
your car....so there you go..`communication` would be the first step! If
they are reluctant to communicate then by all mean..leave them!

couple of years back, but i understood why they turned me down.
simply because too many cars in their garage. so, i reckon it's a lot
better for them to turn down rather than accepting another car to add
in the garage. i admit, a lot of cars in their garage. but now, i have
found a good place which i reckon i am gonna stick to, for a long time
hehe. Goodwork is the name of the place.
ar145, sorry to hear that too bro. oh well, hey long time no see la you.
what's up man? your Boxer doing well? come for TT la wei.

Driver". I often heard: "Oh your Alfa, very cheap, you can get it only
30K, even proton is higher value". Especially in Penang!
Even the WIRA will try to challenge you when you are in the highway,
because people thought that "is only 30K car, why WIRA can not beat
them?". But at the end, the WIRA was disappear from the mirror, when my
speedo meter start reaching 150 Km/h (only).
