st1180,

Abt a months ago I was offered a RM 11K discount with a RM 500 D/P and a
monthly repayment of RM 1,200 for 9 years. To me it was a good bargain
and good offer. One I dun fancy paying so much money on D/P, secondly, it
is a depreciating value of investment. Paying Rm 1,200 a month is
affordable to me but somehow, that bloody salesman was quoting the Optima
package instead of Sorento...bloody hell...

Anyway, the point is even the 2.5 CDRi turbo diesel is a good choice.
With good new diesel engine technology, most of the car experts are
giving it a thumbs up. Low engine noise than the standard Diesel Engine
and some even commented it to be better than the X5.

If you are interested on KIA 4WDs, next months the new sportage will be
shown at Paris MotorShow and they will introduce another new SUV which
follows the Hyundai Tucson platform. All these will be mass produced in
2005. I am game. The new sportage is said to be priced at RM 82K...if
Naza doesn't want to bring it in, then we can import it thru other
sources like C&C...

Hi ManB,

I was offered 9K discount and a 3.0% interest and we are talking about
the Sorento this time. Must arrange for a test drive. Really look like a
good deal but first need to sell off my ford focus.

I feel that the sportage is a little small. Like the sorento size - don't
get bully too often when you have a bigger car.Evil

Hi st1180

The salesman offered me a 6-7K discount. He also informed me that NAZA is
also offering a special edition Sorento which features side skirting, DVD
player with lcd screens at the back of the driver's and front passenger's
seats (macam what you see in planes)plus some other additional features.
He said NAZA will come up with a coloured brochure for the potential
buyers to see.
I agree with you that the car do look solid. As I understand it, the car
is build using a truck based frame. If you have been to the KIA SC at
Setapak lately, there is this Sorento that was involved in an accident and
is waiting to be repaired. I noticed that the engine compartment was badly
smashed but the driver's and passenger's compared was not affected at all.

May I know which dealer is offering you this? Is the dealer a Naza Kia
dealer or an authorised Naza Kia dealer? The interest rate at 3.0% is for
how many years? Don't know whether it's true or not, the salesman told me
if I buy the Sorento from an authorised dealer, the car would not come
with the shiftronic feature as it is a 2003 model.

ianual,

Why go for the Petrol when the diesel is damn bloody good enuf. Wif turbo
diesel at 2.5 CDRi and new technology coupled wif shiftronic..my god..I
will go for it....just waiting for my salesman to send the quotation
still tak sampai.

I was told, the pickups of the 2.5CDRi is much more better than the X5
and the best part is diesel...cheap as compared to petrol. If buy the 3.5
it will drink petrol like mad.

One of the Owner did told me he only put in RM 10 and can go and come
back from Melaka..and really the diesel..dek.dek.dek sound is almost
cannot hear. If you in the car langsung tak dengar.
