Just saw some article about new Nissan GTR. Actually, its engine is
brand new VR series, 3.8L. I thought it was similar to 350Z using VQ35 :)
Also have new dual-clutch tranmission . This's the real sequential manual
gearbox. Very rare in a Japanese production car.

Tan Chong has a promotional contest early this year (for Nissan
purchaser) the grand price of which was a Fairlady.

Has anyone heard the news on the outcome of the contest?

HI,

Actually the prices are coming down for the 350Z...read in the car for
sale column 2002 model going for 160K, 2003 onwards 170-180K, while the
roadster 199K etc. And there is mention of version S and version T? I
personally like standard version ones as they look better without all the
skirtings, spoilers etc.

Just wait after elections and announcement of petrol hikes, 350X shud sell
for lower...currently driving Cefiro 3.0 2003 model so 350Z will be a very
nice upgrade. The roadster definitely looks sexy, esp silver with black
canvas.
