any cars can be bought using loan. unless really really old car(s), after a XX amount of years.
bank will not offers their services except maybe private loaners.
dont get me wrong, i dont wanna sound as if i'm a salesman. I not.
i'm a bonafide MR2 spyder enthusiast & any questions can be direction to pm too.

Sorry haha to interrupt a bit
Koolspyda,
i've always wondered what the real difference between the Mrs n the
Celica? as both are around the same market price....well..except their
design....both are using the same engine...

real difference??
2 people sports car & 2+2 sports coupe?? :)
they are about the same price but it all depends what you are after (driving experience)
We have a chap who ownes both this car (celica VVTL-i auto & 5 speed SMT) One is used to be
driven to work & the other for his own enjoyment drive. (you can guess which to which)
"Both are using the same engine?", technically not really.
MR-S only 1ZZ engine but they have manual & SMT (Sequential Manual Transmission ~ much like
BMW's SMG) & the celica is offered in 2 engines (1ZZ & 2ZZ), in auto & manual.
you can check my review on the MR-S in the 'autoworld cars review section".
else i can be pm'ed at spyderclub.msia@gmail.com

MR-S is a RWD, and Celica is a FWD. Celica isn't as agressive as the MR-S
because of the drivetrain it uses...However, there's the Celica GT4
produced in the early 90's for rallies then production ceased. If you
want fun, always go for a rear wheel driven car..............

MRS is fun car. Just not as good as it should be. The MR2 (SW20) Twin
Turbo or the Limited Edition with the TRD tuned 3SGTE is better - imo.
And Koolspyda, stock car? Yeah right. That vid shows a MODIFIED MR-S =
note that it mentions modified suspension.
"i have adjustable sway bars and all kinds of bracing. the roll bar is
also a custom job that really stiffened the chassis since it's a weld in
part. "
-- read what the owner commented.
Wah lau, welded roll bar? That's not a stock car. Stock engine yes but
not stock car. Character completely different already.

the video doesn't potray real world experience. In reality, together with
the overpriced performance items in malaysia, it's really going to be darn
hefty to have that kind of setup in any car. rm20-30k perhaps?
Furthermore, if you have that kind of setup, better forget driving comfort
altogether. And driving on malaysian road? geezzz... baca bismillah saja
lah....

2 different kettle the MR2 & MR-S (spyder)
the old MR2 was more a power horse but the drive as in driver`s appeal is... or slightly lack of it
in oppose to the MR-S. i wouldn`t say it dull but it not as "Involving" experience. I know cause
i`m driven both (btw i drive a MR-Spyder as a daily car).
I try not to be overly bias (since i own one) but if any one care to look into owners feedback on
the cars (both) ; then one will understand better on the argument than to slack one or the other
without basis.
Tartly, i would say some chaps argue that "power boost" IS the way to drive but pur(ist)
enthusiast will always opt for NA.
To get yourself a set of proper suspention set up may set yourself back under RM10K!! (for MR-
S). that all new stuffs not your chop shop suspensions. (proper as in additional braces; sway bars;
anti-roll bars, struts & stuffs)
So many motorheads boast of wanting a over 200HP++ in their cars but have they even learn
how to harness 140ponies. I have even put several to shame with my puny 140ponies ride. Lofty
dreams? I gif when i gif I"ll say never be too cocky about having the best in the market when
all it needs is driving brains.
ok I digress.
*go outside drive top down in beautiful weather with a widest grin on my face*
