Hi all, I test drove the 3008 yesterday and it was quite a good feeling driving it. Can anyone share their experience owning this car? Specifically on reliability, major issues if any, android connectivity, servicing cost etc. Thanks in advance.

As the Model was launched in 2017, the car is relatively new.

I have asked a few and so far, there were not much complaints.

Driving was wonderful but I am not used to the plastic gearshift and handbrake since I rely on real mechanical feels.

Servicing cost-wise, they're quite reasonable since most intervals do not really go beyond the RM800 mark (except for some Major Intervals, which is not more than RM1600), depending on where you service them.

Android Connectivity is still an issue as the USB port is a media port and everyone expects it to be a charger port too. But yeah, software for the Android is still in it's infancy.

What I really love about the car, apart from all those road safety features was the reversing camera. The car is so quiet and comfortable.

Thanks Karl for the feedback.

Yes reverse camera is good. Especially with aerial view.

The servicing cost sounds reasonable especially at a 10K km interval.

Me too a bit worried about the electronics. Its very futuristics but sometimes i wonder whether i will actually use all the feature on the display.

The 3008 does have a lot more electronics than usual. You can say this 3008 is a complete re-design from the ground up based on its new chassis design.
