Hi Everyone

 

Im currently in the market for a new car (1st car). deciding between a 2nd gen mazda 3 2.0, 2010 mfg and a 2nd gen Mazda 6 2.0, 2009 mfg. Both have about 60k-70k plus km on the mileage. Which would be the better choice? Planning to finance the buy with a loan, both cars are going for about RM50k. Thanks.

Mazda 6 is bigger. Best is you test drive both and see which you prefer As for maintenance issues, since both are Mazda they are about the same.

I was shopping for a Mazda6 as well. Isn't it annoying how many dealers lie about the mfg year on their mudah ad? Went to view two 2011 mazda6. Both times, they show me a 2009 car. Say that the ad put 2011 for "marketing".

It is a common practise that dealer would not advertise the actual details of the car for sale.

Only found one honest dealer in Jln Segambut. Say 2012, and it's really Sept 2012. Less than 5yrs old and managed to get a good price. Only about 5k more than the other 2009 cars I saw.

That's why sometimes the deal too good to be true, be more alert when choosing used car.
