Does anyone here uses a toothbrush to clean your wheel rims? I notice toothbrushes do a more thorough cleaning job than those wheel brushes.

Toothbrushes are smaller too. I suppose I got programmed into using wheel brushes because wheel brushes are sold and even showed in videos. Toothbrushes instead do a better and more thorough job.

Yah, use kids toothbrush so that its small and flat enough to fit into the lugnut hole underneath the nut.

Buy the HARD ones with flexible neck. They work great and wont scratch the surface, while the flexible neck relieves extra pressure and is more manouverable in tight spots.
If you want the softest tbrush for the most delicate cleaning...Colgate's Sensitive Toothbrush with ultra soft and superfine bristles closely packed, with each bristle having a rounded (not sharp) tip.

Kakakaka. I can imagine rows of toothbrushes at the car aisle/section at hardware stores -- for brushing wheel rims not human teeth.

which part of the rim u using toothbrush to clean ? I found that Mothers Wheel Brush is generally good and gentle (soft) for rim surface.
For inner side of the rim, baby bottle brush would be good
