Hi all,

Due to certain reasons, I wasn't doing much detailing other than just normal washing.
Finally after I got my ride fixed up after a minor accident, I decided to use DG501 to give my ride a long-delayed one-over, but the long storage has "destroyed" it. A clear liquid (I assume is water) came out of the bottle, even though I shaked it thoroughly and the "paste" came out later and was practically useless.

So now, other than buying another bottle of DG501 (abit pricey), any other suggestions on alternatives?
I use it with a white LC CCS pad and the Bosch ROB.

Actually my usual activity is just washing with Osren Bubble&Wax and occasionally waxing with Meguiars 16 wax (to finish it off) before moving on to Osren Synergy Wax. My idea is to only use DG501 when I have not been able to wash/wax due to time reasons and the car would need some "polishing", like now. Makes sense?

Next thing cheaper than DG would be Osren. Its got some light abrasives inside as MOST AIOs. If you don't wanna thin the paint then keep on using DG501 as lts a chemical cleaner. Only use abrasives if the chemical isn't aggressive enough. If not I suggest stick with DG501 or Klasse AIO (chemical only as well) but Klasse you need to order online.

Either matawax or Paint restorer. You have to call and ask Henry the abrasive level if they are the same?

From the answer I got from Osren on their Facebook page, it seems that way. Think a trip down to their office is in order smile.gif

finally got around to using the Osren Paint Restorer with my LC White Pad and ROB.
Maybe my expectations were not set right, but I'm disappointed with it vs the DG501.
I still need to buff off the product compared to DG501, where you stop/end with the ROB.
I think the cleaning power of the DG501 is also stronger, as my pad would end up very dirty (nearly black) as compared to the Osren, or it could be my car was "cleaner".
I also don't think there is much wax content as I don't seem to get any water beading as compared with the DG501...

Maybe need to try again...
