Hi all,

Just got my 2.2 XLT for about a month now, like the truck so much, feel safe driving it around town, very spacious and versatile (now I can carry my mountain bikes without the stupid boot rack :-)) but my three little princess have been complaining about the bumpy ride as opposed to my wife Altis. so I wonder if anyone can recommend a reliable workshop in northern region who is capable of modifying the stiff and bumpy rear suspension set-up?

I don't think I'll be using it to carry heavy load, the most will be the luggage of my family of five and two mountain bikes when go travel. Going off road in the real wilderness has never come into my mind. so I'm ready to let go the load carrying capacity in exchange of the passenger comfort.

Thanks!

this is what pickup trucks for when the manufacturer produce it in the first place...

to carry heavy loads.....see...

but u can still switch for more tolerable ride comfort via removing 1-2layer of the leaf springs on each side....but keep in mind...load carrying capacity will be lower than stated in manual book after u did that...

Where can we do this (shop's name, if you can kindly name a few...thank you kindly) and what's the brand(s) and model(s) of the dampers that you can suggest? Thinking of doing this to my Hilux Vigo smile_blush.gif

Many thanks and appreciations for your valuable suggestions/advise smile_thumbup.gif

got most of my info from offroadershack.com

used to heard lots of good stuff for Amada shocks..

add in carry boy s-560 canopy will help little better reduces bumpy cause the load in rear.
cost rm 3100 if you install in hatyai songkra.local rm 4200 in kl.
i was aiming for BT-50 both ranger and bt-50 after test drive for auto better spec compare to ranger.
but tyre pricier then ranger too 16 for ranger 17 for mazda.
but hill decent control, dual zone air cond and rear diff lock defiantly for good off road.
i do not need a kangaroo bar cause prefer to install canopy.
