ECO mode when on operates to up shift the auto faster so engine running at lower rpm thus better economy. This is when using cruise-control only.

You are correct, bit of web browsing revealed that it is manufactured with the technical collaboration of AVL Austria. I am wondering about the long term availability of spare parts?

hi,

i won't worry to much. with 3yrs warranty and looking at those Rexton running for ages, I believe spare parts should be available for long run.

it is not exactly that. the ECO mode is for cruise control acceleration control when RESUME is activate or INCREASE speed with cruise control

example, let say you already set 110kph...then u step on brake to deactivate cruise control and car speed drop down to 80kph. if you press RESUME with ECO mode ON, the rate of acceleration will be very slow to avoid auto down shift. if the ECO mode is OFF, then the acceleration rate back to 110kph will be more faster and potentially auto down shift.

that is all it does in ECO

Well described bro.
Just done my dpf delete. Saw a little black smoke from exhaust for the first time. But not much. Pickup seems to be more eager. FC need more testing.

Hi all,

Refer to the news below.

http://www.cbt.com.m...le-at-bhpetrol/

So we now have a "pseudo" Euro 4 grade? Has anyone tried the diesel yet? Am in China at the moment. Could not try yet.

My son using it at the moment. FC seems to have improved from 12.4L/100km to 10.4 for my son's usual driving style which is mainly short distance Ipoh city.
