p/s:thats why i set my car suspension to give compromise between comfort and handling so on uneven surface like those bad road my car still got good grip..(if hard suspension then rough surface surely bad grip)




ntc....not that outside car capability...i'm talking about those hoggers very fast on straight 140++ but then when come to those corner become snail speed less than 80km/h....and still want to stay in the "KING" lane... smile_big.gif

Who ask you drive so fast? Like newspaper mentioned two guys crash into pillar of MRR2. Have to cut open the car to remove their bodies. Accident happened at 3.50am means traveling very fast..... smile_blackeye.gif

People pay toll yet so many potholes and yet they want to increase the toll price. Oh well, we have no control over the toll price increase etc. I ran into some potholes this morning at Guthrie near the NKVE / Federal highway split under flyover. Man it really sucks. DUKE is known for its uneven surfaces which creates aquaplane when it rains. SMART Tunnel, so far i dont have any problem.

SMART Tunnel

- The road surface is concrete, not tarred-road. Why ?
Answer: Concrete lasts longer than tar-road under heavy use. Less maintenance, although more expensive to lay it initially.
Also, if submerge under water, as smart-tunnel is used to divert rain/river water, tar-road will develop pot-holes very quickly. If you notice road areas where there is frequent water flowing/submerge, pimples potholes will come out very fast.

- Why is it very rough surface (cheese grater smile_tongue.gif ) and not squeaky smooth like Ikea parking ? Both also concrete what ?
Answer: You don't go 80-110km/h or more at Ikea parking. Also, Ikea parking is generally dry. The reason it is rough, is to allow water flow and aqua-planning, in addition to your tyres thread for aqua-planning.

DUKE - no idea on the sink-holes, very rare use that road.
