My OC 2.0 is going on 2 weeks now. Today just rain. The black road dust now is on the car and it rained today and the layer is very obvious on the car now. So if tommorrow no rain this will be baked by the sun and this weekend I will wash the car. So fingers crossed.
Did you check out my pics in the OC 2.0 thread. I also outline my method of doing the car and the streaks you can have if not done properly.
I will update my results in the OC2.0 thread which was started by me.
Yes. Have checked out your thread before. It'll be an interesting find to see how the OC 2.0 performs. It would be great if we could also compare permanon too

I can understand there will be streaks after rain. However, the challenge is for the products' effectiveness to repel the streaks in a simple car wash.
For Both m16 and dg105, I had to use a mild polish to clean these dirt streaks.
Have you tried, maybe, cleaning with a mild all purpose cleaner or something? I'd normally do that before going for a paint cleaner or polish. Reason being, I'd most probably ended up polishing the whole panel since that portion would get glossier than the rest

Hmmmm.... Interesting. I have not tried a mild all purpose cleaner yet. What do you use? Stp all purpose cleaner? The one in a can and spray out the foam?
I also have this problem when I polish that particular part and ended up polishing the whole panel. Most of the time, I'll just polish the whole car!!!

I'll either use Meg's APC or Optimum Power Clean, I've even seen one respectable detailer used diluted DG Ultimate Orange with success.

Are the dirt streak kept on long like a week or two before cleaning. Or are they clean within a week.
I have no problem if cleaned within a week, just DG car shampoo and it is clean....

I'm using DG105 & washed my car also with DG901 shampoo. No such problem washing off dirt streaks during weekend washes. Only problem is my HM's car which is also on DG exclusively but the dirt streaks are harder to remove. My guess is the prep work was not done properly on her car.

Actually, mine is the worst. I had to polish off the dirt streaks even less than 3-4 hours after a heavy downfall. Hmmm.... What is wrong here???
