Hi,
My Rondo is 10 months old with mileage clock around 19700km. This past week, have been experiencing weaker start every morning and sometimes after few hours of parking. If the deactivated alarm horn sound is soft, it gets harder to start the car.
Sent to SC and they said my battery is in good condition. Not sure are they trying to deny my warranty claim till exceed 20000km or really there is nothing wrong.
Is the difficult start an indication that the battery is dying or is there any other problems. Anyone experiencing the same problem? What is the battery lifespan for Rondo. Please advice. Thanks.

Buckeyes,
Waranty for battery is 10,000km or 1 year if i'm not wrong, check again with Naza or MAA.
As for mine, batery died after 1 year 2 months but I never had your symptom. Mine suddenly cannot start after refuelling at petrol station and came without warning.
Make sure you buy the correct battery size (high) otherwise the black compartment have to be modified abit.
Hope thats help.

Hi All,
This morning when I deactivated my alarm, it was still weak. So, I went to my neighbourhood tyre shop and asked them to check my battery. Using their analog battery tester, it indicated bad on the meter.
Immediately called SC and sent in for checking again. 3 hours later, they told me that my battery is weak. They have taken picture (??) and will send to HQ for warranty claim.
Not sure why didn't they find out during my servicing on the 10th. In fact, the battery test report indicated "Good battery" on that day. Today's report indicated "Replace Battery". Sometimes so worry that there are hidden issues that we are not aware of and SC is not telling until the car broke down and need replacement. Rather disappointed... Luckily the battery failed before 20000km......
Anyway, thanks to Setisfai, Kevin and Hun for your response...

Yah... I found the SC's attitude is cincai only, they only look into it if you specify the problem and tell them how to check or fix it. I have the same problem with the SC before until I consult the usual workshop from outside, then just tell the SC on what the outside workshop says, then they only know how to do.

if the battery is ok , try check if there is leakage in circuit , example a fault break switch which make the break lamp on after u off the car may cause the problem ...
normally a battery warranty is 1 years .. if the naza don wan change for u ..try go to the other autorizhed SC ..they may be easier to kao tim

wouldn't it give some kind of signs such as difficult to start (takes couple of key twisting before the engine can be on)..? My experience with batteries for the last 3 cars were all like that.
how much does it cost your new battery?
