Yesterday morning, some black Honda (WPC 2848) kissed my car's rear. Bloody hell. Came down but, thankfully, no dents or scratches! It is very strange that people absolutely love my car's backside. All accidents happen at my car rear and slow speeds. No sudden stops involved at all.
Some years ago, I stopped at a traffic lights for a full 3 seconds before one taxi banged my car's rear. Taxi man said, "Sori, lah, mengantuk".
Another time, there was a shallow flood on the road, all cars were moving slowly, including me...then banged! Again, at the rear. I drove to a petrol station, hoping to settle there, but car sped off! I gave chase like Fast & Furious (in flood waters!) and managed to stop driver about 500 m ahead. Malay lady said, "Sebenarnya saya nak U-turn ... nak balik jumpa you." Yeah, right. The lady knew some traffic police officer, and he tried to give me the rundown at the traffic police station during my report, but I refused to give in. At the end, lady was summoned (but she received special discount ). She went off, smiling as though she received free police coupons to bang a few more cars.
Another time, traffic jam, all cars moving slowly, and, well you guess it, banged! Again at my car rear. Chinese man got down and said, "Aiyo, what to do, ah?" Made police report at the end, but when he saw my police report, he commented that I am trying to make money by listing down so many damages. Otak udang.
The last accident was some Iranian hit my back because I stopped at the traffic light. He thought I was going to beat it, so he might as well do the same. Well, I didn't want to beat the traffic light, and...banged!
Then yesterday's incident. Fortunately, this time, no harm done. Phew.
Now my question: what should I do to stop people kissing my backside? Should I install a fourth brake light? Would putting psychological stickers on my car rear/bumper work? Stickers like "STOP! Watch your distance!" or "You Are Too Close!"?
Or perhaps:
which we can get at IPmart.

Yah, good, old days when cars came with thick, fat rubber. Can take a bit of beating before damage. Today, knock a bit, dent...scratch...break...fall off...
