... Hyundai-Kia & Mitsu have pact not to harm each others' sales.

Is this a local agreement or global? I found this press release, something related?

Talk to Naza salesman last week...he said Forte with 6-speed gearbox will arrived this Sept with same price tag & he asked me to hold my purchase. Wah!! if like that very good ma! Hope it's true.

Anyone heard about this news?

Now difficult to make decision...Forte or new Avante or new Waja....

Hi nitroclub,

Hey, I just bought mine 1.6EX 4-speed auto. I'll be very angry to see 6-speed gearbox Forte being brought in not long after my purchase. The Forte 2.0L facelift might get dual CVVT + 6-speed gearbox in future, maybe after Lancer 2.0 dual MIVEC & Avante being made largely available.

If new Verna has dual CVVT 1.6L + 5 or 6speed gearbox then the Forte 1.6 facelift might get dual CVVT 1.6L too.

Hi tmcchan,

You can call it secret P&C pact. Hyundai-Kia & Mitsubishi share more than just engine. You may want to check the disc brake, the suspension set, the chasis too.

Hi Informer,

Lancer at no. 20? What is this? Sort of ridiculous. Corolla Altis in US has new dual VVTi engine and gearbox score so low?

Consumer reliability issue...
Don't know how they did the survey...

but, in US, consumer consciousness is very high...
Normal citizen can always suit the Government or President...

yup, in that market, consumer is the king. Imagine a brand new fairlady at 30000 usd, and camry/accord V6 at 20000 smile.gif

a fiesta at 14000. So i guess its not easy to sell small car there, haha.

If not because of Local Car Tax Protection...
Most of Malaysian's will be driving variety of cars like the Singaporeans... smile_big.gif
