Got no idea about the 'timing belt or chain' thing...
Driven one from Sepang Airport to KL a few months back...
Might admit, lots of features, gadgets etc. on-board...
But, the suspension doesn't absorbed bumps well and road noise, a bit intrusive...
Handling, just like any normal SUV, doesn't realize (or feel) anything special about it..

Agree what you said. The ride is a bit hard & stiff, rather bouncy if riding alone, but since I'm rather used to Honda CRV & Stream, so basically it's not that bad...

Overall, it's a good deal for a 2.0, everything you need in a Conti SUV thou. My next project will be to remap, upgrade the player & tire. Lastly will be the PPS, hope all will happen within this year...hehe

Anyone care to share your experience?

Was trying to contribute & to get more info, but since I can't login, basically, Read Only. smile_angry.gif

Can you register for me? I dont mind using the same name "TSIjetta" as my user name. smile_thumbup.gif

i've received PLENTY of emails from people claiming that they want to be captivians, blah, blah blah...

they get their forum username from dear old Unker Chips via the shortcut created for captivians, and that's all i ever hear from them.

they have ALL received a reply from me - a personal reply (not generic), and the registration email, but they never reply that. what's going on? what's the point of sending in their application at all??? and last week, andrew tells me there's a guy in Cergazam claiming that he NEVER received any emails from me after writing to captivians@gmail.com.

C'mon, we are not a terrorist organization. we are NON-profit. how good can that be? all we request is that you mail us your ACTIVE email address, or don't bother at all.

DON'T WASTE MY TIME WITH SPURIOUS APPLICATIONS!!! I waste time replying to you!

beats the heck out of me everytime. that's why i need to go into therapy already...

I may be slow in getting the accounts activated but all e-mails to our gmail mailbox do get activated and I do not make a judgement on whether a person can be a Captivian club member. That's the job of your committee and as far as I am concerned, we welcome anyone to join our forum so long as they do not break any rules.

Bro, thanks for your info. Basically, Chandr replied, but I still can't login to MTM, but I hv asked him either to create a new username or reset the password, hope it works.

As for the Red bird, I've sent an email to Derek, asking for more info...hehe, hope it's within my budget lah. BTW, how much you pay for it? Dont mind sharing.

Thanks
