New Mazda3
New Honda City
New Ford Focus
A New Ford Focus Hatchback 2.0 TDCi will be a good choice, over the 2 makes, for power, torque, economy and prices
but maybe still premature and hard for many in Malaysia to accept a diesel powered car.

if they do low mileage - why not? and at 5.8lts/100km only or less if you are light footed, but usually they are very elephant footed! hahaha! and still have high hp / torque and at low rpm - like a golf tsi 1.4
road tax only rm70.00 and have all the goodies like a diesel cars too

Diesel Engine also has plenty of room for performance enhancement like adding tune-box and remapping. Most are still trapped in 1980s diesel engine seen in buses, lorry and trucks that is smoking black and smelling diesel

many good diesel cars like like merc 270cdi are confusingly underrated here. Could be in many people mindset that diesel means smelly smoke guaranteed at the back of the car? I know 2 people who never had any problems with their diesel cars using the local diesel. It is weird where this rumors came form.

Your Jetta coming soon - locally assembled!!! but dont know whith what engine? maybe with the TSi engine?
even with the 1.4 TSi engine also cukup power lah, to push this car oledi, if not better than most 2.0 & 2.4 cars
