Exora.
- new car
- 1.6 16V DOHC CPS
- FWD, AT or MT
- 125bhp / 93kW
- seating capacity = 7
- price 70-75K
- warranty 2 yrs or 50,000km from proton.
- weight 1,430kg (average)
- power to weight ratio 1kW : 15.4kg
- engine using timing belt, ATF change every 20K

Innova
- new car, not a new model
- 2.0 16V DOHC, VVTI
- RWD, AT or MT
- 140bhp / 100kW
- seating capacity = 8
- price 96-110K
- warranty 3 yrs or 100,000km from UMWT
- weight 1,545kg
- power to weight ratio 1kW : 15kg
- engine using timing chain, ATF change at 80K.

verdict : Innova more spacious. can seat 8 adults. both MPVs have similar power to weight ratios but Proton's 1.6 CPS engine does lack in torque so it will struggle with 7 ppl on board. Innova also has longer warranty coverage. With a lower maintenance cost, it will keep budget in check then.

Innova does not look pretty but the Exora is not smart either.

Actually Exora Warranty is 5 years or 175,000km with the first 3 years or 100,000km warranty comes from Proton

Normal Proton ATF change is at every 40,000km, I highly doubt your claim of every 20.000km.

one thing to ask...

which car does fit your budget and needs???

if you got 6 kids and a whole lot of family members hitchin' your ride then maybe your should consider bigger transport...

but remember....bigger engine means bigger fuel consumption and bigger cost when renewing your roadtax and insurance.... smile_approve.gif

What's the FC like for Exora and Innova in comparison ? Which one has a tougher chasis and body ? Which one more reliable ? Cheers.
