i second you.
i still remember the Alfa Romeo 146 2.0ti was only selling for 110K in 97. looks so good with power to go. reliability is an issue but at that price, its bearable.
similar goes to Alfa Romeo 155 2.0 16V twinspark which was sold slightly higher.
unfortunately, when the 156 arrived in malaysia the price was jacked up so high that the Alfa Romeo brand became a niche in Malaysia. pity.

yes, thats a pity and shame... although the hike was steep since the 156, they still failed to retain the re-sale value..
PS - i bought my 1996 146Ti in year 2000 for 76K... and sold it for 45K 3 years later...

nicee...
146ti and 145 Qloverleaf - both fabulous cars!! good for you.
i never had the chance to own one. but i had thrashed many of them while working with Milan Auto (new cars from Port Klang to the stockyard in jln ampang and to PDI centre in PJ). thats why i knew Alfa Romeos are great!

Saw the car yesteday, very nice. Will test drive it next week. Heard it's gonna be almost the same price as the 156 but the specs are so much better. New model, new engine, better specs, same price, sound's attractive. But then again, the price is still pretty high. How I wish they can price it within the 2.4 Japs range, that will be darn tempting, isn't it?

The price is also around japs 2.4.... Honda Accord price @ RM17XK while the 159 price @ Rm188K...I will definately go for Alfa Romeo, after I tested my uncle's 156 selespeed twin spark... amazing ride....
