hi jack,
how old u car?
Y so faster change plug?
I m using mixer sys. on myvi 8mth(25k km) aldg. 1st time change plug & rubber spring must change cos cilnder berat ma.
for my infor. when ngv sys put in time all the NGV shop DONE ALL the thing termasuk plug, clean throel
My car is a 10-year-old Wira 4G15. At the time when I changed to NGV, the shop did not change the spark plug, rubber and spring for me. I had to do them all separately. I changed the spark plug because the original spark plug was already in quite a bad condition anyway. So it made sense to change them all to the NGK BP-6ES spark plug.

JUST wondering, if you fit a NGV tank on a MYVI, how about the already-small BOOT SPACE? As good as GONE? Pardon me, sister also driving Myvi.
Oh! like KCFOO, I'm also a TELSTAR OWNER. Mine is 1999 model. FC's TERRIBLE at 7km/L averaged with Best 9km/L and WORST 5.9km/L. Seriously thinking of Converting to NGV since the TELSTAR's BOOT is BIG enough at 480L. But was quoted RM6,000 last September. Hope the price will drop now...

How about for those people who need to travel to up north such as Perak / Penang

In fact recently I went to my bawah pokok mechanic and he mentioned he had just repaired a car with NGV got blown and that particular case never appear in newspapers. In his case the car did not get blownup out right....the front part under the hood got explosion, the tank at the back was fine. It seems the driver told him that he already heard of large whirring sound coming out of the bonnet, but he thought he could drive the vehicle to a mechanic to see whats the problem, but before reaching the car explodes. No injuries but going to cost more than RM3k to repair.
So if you are on NGV beware of any funny sound whether coming from the front or for that matter from anywhere in youir car la. In fact my mechanic said the driver should have just switch off the NGV and drive on petrol until reach a mechanic shop. Of course the problem is sometime in an emergency like that we tend to forget the right thing to do.
